Tankline was commissioned to deliver a cladding cleaning project using our Power-Clean system across multiple steel-framed buildings clad in corrugated, coated sheeting. Years of exposure had left the cladding stained with dirt and grime, significantly affecting the visual presentation of the site.
All works were carried out on-site at the client’s facility, where access and safety considerations were paramount.
Access & Site Safety
Due to the height and layout of the buildings, most of the work was completed using a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP). A detailed risk assessment and health and safety documentation pack were prepared and approved prior to commencement.

A specialist three-person team was deployed:
One MEWP operator for high-level jetting
One ground-based rescue operative
One additional jetting operative
The work area was safely demarcated with cones and barriers, and nearby personnel were notified in advance of the washing operations.
Cleaning Methodology – Power Wash Process
The process began with the application of a mild, eco-friendly detergent using soft-bristle brushes to loosen surface contamination. This was followed by high-pressure jet washing to fully remove embedded grime and restore the original finish of the cladding. High-level areas were cleaned first using the MEWP. Ground-level sections were completed last to ensure a seamless and uniform result
Wash water and residues were safely channelled into designated drainage systems, in line with environmental best practices
